A signed First Day
Cover by Princess Diana's Childhood friend, Christene Whiley - Postmistress Althrop. The two grew up together in Althrop. Christene later became the Postmistress of the Althrop Post (Office) of Britain's Royal Mail. She gained world recognition on the release of the new British Stamps - Shown on the envelope. She was shown releasing the stamps in world newspapers, magazines and TV - to the members of Princess Diana's Childhood community in Althrop. Christene, who grew up with Princess Diana in Althrop and was one of Princess Diana's best friends, prepared 50 of these covers as a Tribute and Remembrance for Lady Diana. Many of these covers were presented to Princess Diana's Closest Friends. The cover's 5 stamps from Britain Honoring her, are postmarked at Althrop - The Home of Princess Diana on the one year anniversary of her death.
